01 /Time & Cost

The most expensive part of reporting is doing it twice.

Before VORO, this was our own reporting week running real underground fiber crews. The numbers below describe that manual process, not a promised saving. Run your own through the calculator.

The Manual Week

Where the hours actually go.

Mon – Fri

30 min – 1 hr / day

Collect footage from each crew through texts, calls, and marked-up maps, then enter it into the daily report.

Fri

up to 4 hrs

Combine production from several crews, check footage against the plan, review corrections, prepare the weekly report, and build invoice quantities.

Total

up to 9 hrs / week

An hour a day of collection across a five-day week, plus up to four hours on Friday, most of it re-entering production that was already recorded once.

Founder's own workflow before building VORO. Your numbers will differ. That's what the calculator below is for.

The Repeated Tasks

It's not one big job. It's the same small job, five times.

Footage gets written down at the drill, texted to the supervisor, typed into a spreadsheet, summarized in the weekly report, and re-keyed into invoice software. Five entries of one number.

Before VORO

One day of completed footage, retyped at every stop:

  1. Crew texts and calls
  2. Marked PDF
  3. Spreadsheet updates
  4. Weekly totals
  5. Invoice entry

5 entries · versions disagree · footage gets lost

With VORO

The same footage, recorded once at the source:

  1. Complete a run on the map
  2. Verify production
  3. Generate reports and invoice quantities

1 entry · every report and invoice reads from it

Estimate It

What does your reporting week cost?

Set the sliders to your operation. Outputs are estimates of your current manual workload based on your inputs. They are not a guarantee, but they are a good reason to look.

Your current reporting workload

30 min/day
5 days
2.5 hrs
45 $/hr

Estimated time spent on reporting

Per week
10 hrs
Per month
43.3 hrs
Per year (50 working weeks)

$22,500

Much of this time is re-entering production that was already recorded once. Keeping it connected from map to daily to weekly to invoice is exactly the work VORO removes.

Estimates only, based on your inputs. Not a guarantee of savings.

Book a demo

Get those hours back on the production side.

Book a demo and bring your current reporting process. We'll walk the same week through VORO and you can count the steps that disappear.

No commitment. About 30 minutes.
